About the Founder: Inge de Dreu
Meet Inge de Dreu, the founder of Playground for Entrepreneurs. She's a dedicated professional with a decade's experience in entrepreneurship education and coaching. Over the years, she has been privileged to work with more than 500 startup teams, mainly in Colombia, but also on an international scale.
Inge's contribution to the entrepreneurial ecosystem is wide-ranging. She mentors up-and-coming entrepreneurs and trains budding coaches in startup and entrepreneurship methods. Her roles have extended to involvement in government initiatives like the Colombian Ministry of ICT's Apps.co program.
Moreover, Inge has shared her expertise within academic environments, running entrepreneurship and innovation classes and workshops at universities in both Colombia and the Netherlands. Her hands-on approach and deep-rooted knowledge make her a true authority in her field.
However, Inge's journey began with a realization: the success, growth rate, and even existence of entrepreneurial ventures are heavily influenced by their coaches, teachers, and mentors. They play a crucial role not only in the projects' success but also in the personal development of the entrepreneurs themselves.
This understanding sparked an idea – the creation of the Playground for Entrepreneurs. It combined her passion for empowering others with her belief in hands-on, dynamic learning experiences. In lieu of traditional pedagogy, Inge crafted a game-based learning environment that turned teaching entrepreneurship into an engaging, interactive journey.
As Inge continues to shape the future of entrepreneurship education, her mission remains clear: to empower educators, coaches, and nascent entrepreneurs to navigate the entrepreneurial journey with confidence, creativity, and collaboration.

Inge de Dreu
Founder (MSc, EMBA)
Inge has a rich experience working with Entrepreneurship and Innovation. She has over 10 years of experience in entrepreneurship education and training. She has been training and supporting entrepreneurship coaches since 2013.
Inge has been active as an Entrepreneurship and Innovation teacher and professor at the University of Applied Sciences Avans in the Netherlands, as well as Universidad del Rosario and Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano in Colombia. Previously she has been widely involved in the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Colombia. Amongst others as an entrepreneurship advisor in Apps.co, an early stage entrepreneurship development initiative by the Colombian Ministry of ICT.
The Playground for Entrepreneurs Board Game is Inge's brainchild. She is an EMBA graduate at Quantic School of Business and Technology (class of March 2021) and holds an MSc in General Management at Nyenrode Business Universiteit. Inge is in charge of game design, marketing, and alliances for the Playground for Entrepreneurs.
Operations (EMBA)
Chris is a manager at an aviation company based in Singapore where he accumulated almost 20 years of experience in various business development, operations management, and sales & marketing roles.
Chris is an EMBA graduate at Quantic School of Business and Technology (class of March 2021).
Chris is in charge of managing suppliers.
Monique van Helden
Creative Designer
Monique is a graphic- and webdesigner for GRAPHX 66 and experienced in the start-up phase of entrepreneurship as she is dedicated starting entrepreneurs for over 15 years now.
The start-up phase is a special time for new entrepreneurs. All is new, has to be developed from scratch and the part Monique likes most about her job is to be involved in this development. From the moment a new logo is 'born', a new company is really starting to live. Every new business deserves a professional start, and that is exactly what Monique gives them.
"For me the world of board games is new, and at the same time very challenging and so much fun to do. The same goes for working with Inge and Chris. I am excited to see how this will evolve!"
Edgar Guillermo Solano
Author of books “Innovation for square heads”, "i-Tournament" and "Playliving". He is creator of WakeUpBrain Game, the methodology used to accelerate innovation using game. His blog: “Play to innovate” has become one of the most influential in Spanish.
Guillermo has been Commercial and Marketing Manager in tech companies such as Hewlett Packard, Compaq and Lexmark.
He is the director and host of the Podcast “Square heads club”. He is the director of the WakeUpBrain Academy. He is also the creator of i-Tournaments, innovation tournaments designed to transform culture in companies.
